The South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism will be holding a ribbon cutting for the city of South Sioux City on Friday, November 15 at 11 a.m. The ribbon cutting celebrates the paving project at West 21st and Commerce Way. The public is encouraged to attend.
The paving project opened 50 plus acres of shovel ready commercial land for future development. At this time, twelve lots are completed with three sold and being developed. The project included the completion of utility services for the available lots and has an extension of the current trail system.
The paving project was funded by a grant from the EDA and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds.
Members of the Ambassadors and the Board of Directors of the South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism as well as Siouxland community and business leaders will be in attendance.
