Event Description:
The South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has some exciting news. Small Business Shindig is back and this year it is a full week! The chamber is kicking off the weeklong event on Saturday, November 30 from 10 am to noon at South Sioux City Hy-Vee. The first 200 individuals who stop by will receive a goodie bag. Plus, there will be a live remote with local favorite, Chopper Scott.

What will be at Small Business Shindig Kickoff?
Small Business Shindig kicks off from 10 am to noon There will be:
Two random winners will receive gift cards to local participating businesses, the winners will be drawn and announced on Facebook. First place winner receives a $100 card, and the second place receives a $50 card.

What will be at Small Business Shindig Kickoff?
Small Business Shindig kicks off from 10 am to noon There will be:
- Swag bags*
- $25 Gift card and tumbler from SweetWater Cafe
- Raffle for participating organizations to win $500 Free Airtime Courtesy of iHeart Media
- Raffle to win Samsung 60” Smart TV courtesy of Monster Vision
- A certain amount of random swag bags will have $20 worth of Chamber Bucks
- Pens from the Chamber
- Swag and/or coupons from participating businesses
- Place ads in local papers: Dakota Star,
- Social media platforms, website and mobile app
- Announced at Coffee Hours leading up to SBS
- Q102.3 Live Remote onsite day of SBS, with DJ Chopper Scott at Hy-Vee from 10 am to noon. Participating businesses are encouraged to stop in and say a few words on air
- SBS posters for businesses to hang in their business

- Provide small items for the swag bags

- Stop into headquarters and give a quick shout out to SBS
- Help promote SBS by sharing Chamber social media items; via Facebook, LinkedIn, email, place SBS info on your websites, marquees, signs, etc.
