QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years minimum grain marketing experience preferred

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
• Purchase corn and sell distillers grains and corn oil via phone and in-person
• Enter purchase and sales contracts into accounting system
• Evaluate market conditions to monitor inventory levels and control costs
• Work with leadership to build relationships with suppliers, producers, and customers
• Assist with corn grading according to company discount schedule specifications
• Assist with tracking arbitrage trades and follow-up on paperwork
• Assist with subleasing of hopper cars and follow-up on paperwork
• Assist with corn unloading procedures in the scale room
• Possess a familiarity with trade area and CBOT grain prices at all times
• Enter into CBOT trades to offset company risks associated with various farmer contracts
• Communicate DDGS inventory levels to DDGS customers
• Communicate corn oil inventory levels to customers and adjust logistics accordingly
• Schedule outbound MWDGs loads and make adjustments thereto
• Complete any and all tasks assigned by the President and CEO

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Some areas have been designated areas to use hearing protection. Hard hat, safety glasses, and leather gloves are required in designated areas.


Position is Full time, on-site in Jackson NE. Hours M-F 8-5. Benefits include Health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), short term disability, long term disability, and supplemental insurance available.
